What’s new in Power BI Desktop? Here’s a update on what’s available this month.
Power BI is an analytics tool that provides powerful insights into your data. Microsoft boasts that Power BI can connect to hundreds of data sources, simplify data prep, and drive ad hoc analysis. If you have never seen Power BI in action, you should check it out, it is an amazing tool. I’ve used Power BI to crunch, spin and present visualizations for many different types of analytics. It is truly a one stop BI tool. Throughout the past 2 years or so, Microsoft has been rolling out frequent updates (nearly monthly) to the desktop version, adding tons of new functionality and options throughout the application. |
